How to Promote ClickBank Products on Facebook

Social media, especially Facebook, can be a very powerful and effective tool for sharing and promoting products from ClickBank. Many people have made a lot of money in this area, but only because they have done it the correct way.
There are a much larger number of people who have tried and failed at promoting products on Facebook. Not only has this been an unsuccessful financial endeavor, it has actually hurt their status in the world of social media, and for some, has even cost them friendships. You must know the three simple steps and honor them if you want o be effective promoting on Facebook.
Only promote products you have used or believe in
This step is one of the hardest for people to follow. They see all of the possible products on ClickBank they could be promoting, they see the high affiliate percentages that coincide with some of the products, the high price points, and calculate all of the money they could be making. The problem is, this is the wrong approach to take.
Instead of choosing what to promote based on affiliate commission percentages and price points, you must only promote products you have either used or would use. The reason is simple. Facebook is about building relationships and being part of a community. In a community people only buy from people they trust. Because of the community aspect of social media, people will be able to tell if you are being inauthentic in a heartbeat. A lack of authenticity breads mistrust, and mistrust breads lack of purchasing.
If you want people to buy what you are marketing then they must trust you. If you do not know the product, have not used the product, or at the very least would not use the product then people will be able to tell you d not actually care about the product and they will not want to purchase from you. You must believe in what you are selling or no one will buy.
Know the difference between a profile and a fan page
For those of you that are fairly knew to marketing on Facebook it is important to understand that there are two types of pages on Facebook. You can have a profile and you can have a fan page. A profile is all about you, who you are, what your likes and dislikes are and is not about business. Your business is housed in a fan page. Fan Pages are where business is done and a fan page is where you should do the majority of your marketing. A profile should be more about what you like and are interested in and used as a vehicle for driving people to your fan page. Drive traffic to your fan page from your profile, and then sell to people on your fan page. People who like your fan page are pre-screened as people interested in what you are selling, greatly increasing your buying rate.
Use the 80/20 rule
This final rule is the equation for successful marketing on Facebook. If you follow the 80/20 rule you will greatly increase your sales while not annoying the people you are interacting with. In a community you cannot just sell sell sell. You have to give something of value, gain their trust, and then help them see how you can help them with the products you are offering.
This is why the 80/20 rule exists. In all aspects of social media marketing, you should be sharing valuable information 80% of the time. The only time you sell or promote a product is 20% of the time. This means people are getting 4 pieces of value and benefit to every opportunity to buy something. If you follow this rule you will be building up your value base with your followers and increase your sales, it is really that simple
